![]() The coffee note sits in the background and aids the other elements of this incredibly pleasant fragrance."įragrantica - "o me it’s a resembles of the Arabic coffee in the Majlis ”, Arabic coffee surrounded by the Majlis atmosphere" which with oud, rose and the dessert " Halwa" that usually been taking after the coffee for sweeting the palat and sometimes dates after sipping the spiced bitter coffee, this is not a coffee scent but also more than coffee as I mentioned earlier it can be a smell of the traditional Majlis where they recive the guests and a kind of hospitality guests scented by Oud, rose and the coffee pot should be a basic with Halwa or dates, it’s all together in this scent not only coffee, a type of preparing coffee and also it’s changed from place to place or tribe to tribe and I had the privilege to experience this thing and this atmosphere, It’s really reminded me of that Majlis scent atmosphere but a bit different, the perfumer I think captured the common type of this scent, beautiful. There appeared to be a quick blast of cardamom in the opening too, however this quickly fades away leaving a rich warm, smoky, sweet concoction of spices hazel nuts, cocoa and tonka. I think aside from the spices, incense, cacao, smokiness, and some nuttiness + sweetness, I also get a dark, dried tobacco accord here. I do smell some kind of "exotic spices" here, because I can sense a vibe of what smells like spices from Indian or other Asian cuisines (in a good way)."įragrantica - "Golden Dallah is currently my favourite perfume, it seems to strike the perfect balance of smokiness, spiciness, sweetness, nuttyness and a subtle hint of coffee. NOT BLIND BUY safe so please get yourself a sample like I did."įragrantica - "Golden Dallah smells like nothing I expected before. At first, I was kinda unsure if I like it or not, but after a few more tries, I can say that it is an excellent fragrance. It is hard for me to love this type of fragrance (especially with how that incense is dominating the scent of this fragrance), but Golden Dallah is beautiful to me. It projects and it does smell a little a rich winter vacation. Spicy and leans masculine on the drydown."įragrantica - "An exotic, deep, resinous, ambery, woody, spicy, sweet, grown the hell up fragrance that's a PERFECT cool weather scent for both my man and I. I'd love to stick a raspberry note in there for added tart jammyness - to take that - almost - overly sweet edge off. Nice gourmand, a little salty, just enough cardamom to not be overwhelming. Like sitting down in a posh cafe with a turkish coffee and one of those fancy wafer sweets with the hazelnut filling. It’s another great one, but not great enough to crack my absolute favorites of the brand.Xerjoff Golden Dallah (Coffee Break) reviewsįragrantica - "Spicy, foodie, coffee gourmand. It will last all day as well (it was a bit warm when I tested it, but I think you’ll find no issues in the colder weather). It does strike a nice balance to create something that I haven’t smelled before. If you like dark amber scents, this might be even more to your liking. If you like coffee scents, this is an interesting one to try. I think if you are used to having spiced coffee, your experience might be different. It exudes a warmth, which gives me the imagine of holding a really hot cup of black coffee, but I’d be lying if I said I would’ve blindly guessed the coffee note. It’s rather on the bitter side and I guess that also applies to the cacao. It takes a while to settle down, but Golden Dallah doesn’t get as sweet as many coffee scents. I get an almost (salty) liquorice vibe from the opening and it’s quite strong. After a couple of wears, I’m getting used to it, but I remember wearing this for the first time a couple of weeks ago and not liking it straight away. It’s quite strong and immediately it’s more of a spicy amber than the coffee and cacao than my photo might suggest. The opening is not for the faint of heart. This perfume has been created exclusively for the online store.’- Xerjoff A rich heart of coffee absolute, incense and amber leads the nose to an earthy and inviting base accord of cocoa and tonka bean. Oriental and spicy in character, this precious perfume explodes on the skin with top notes of fresh, exotic spices. ‘Irresistibly warm and exotic, Golden Dallah offers an enticing journey through accords of coffee and fresh spices.
